Housing Policy is Climate Policy: Zoom Webinar

Please join us on Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00 PM on Zoom for “Housing Policy is Climate Policy”.

Did you know that the carbon footprint of the average person living in Cambridge is half that of someone living in the suburbs? Living close to work, taking public transportation, and having less square footage to heat and cool are all effective ways to keep our carbon emissions down. However, the housing crisis is driving up rents in cities like Cambridge, forcing thousands of people into living less sustainable lives.

Anna Zetkulic and Zack Subin are two researchers at the Rocky Mountain Institute studying ways that we can transform our cities to tackle climate change, and they will be presenting some fresh results.
